The following categories of students are required to receive advising and be cleared by a program advisor before they may register for classes:

  • all first year students
  • readmitted students
  • students on probation
  • students who have been disqualified
  • students with special admission status
  • students with admission competency deficiencies
  • transfer students in the first semester at ASU
