The School of Social Work’s BSW and MSW Child Welfare Education Programs (CWEP) have field Units within the Department of Child Safety.  The units are managed by School of Social Work staff with the assistance of field students.  As such, we are the guardians to about 235 children in foster care.

As I near the end of my freshman year as a student on the Downtown campus, I have come to learn a few things about Phoenix life. I love our dorms and how we only have two buildings to get lost in, as opposed to Tempe’s bajillion, but there are a small number of things I feel I was lied to about.
